decompiling
is there a way I can decompile a java applet? I compiled it when I had my Unix running but now that I had to go to Windows (a seperate problem) I lost most of everything. I have the compiled version of my applet but I don't know how to compile or (if possible) decompile on windows. Can someone help?

No, in fact, I use Google quite a lot just sometimes it is easier to ask another human instead of walking into a dark room with 1000s of people to choose from.
Plus, I don't know if it could be done with Windows so why go through many of the results when you can post one thread and come back later to find the answer. Why not get rid of Devshed and just use Google for all our answers? Because Devshed is easier and sometimes faster. |

and let someone else do your homework! Anyway I suggested you a spčecific search, not simply google.com, because I tested it and in the first page of results there was a link to a java decompiler for windows that I tested. YOU LAZY BASTARD!!! |

No, if you know the answer to the question, answer it. If not, then don't answer it. Quote:

Hmm, not lazy, just very busy. I have to do 4 projects at the same time. I have no choice and they have deadlines coming up, you think I have the time to go through 1,400 results? I post it, work on another project, check to see if there is a reply. If so, then I use it; if not, then I go back to work on another project. |

Even when I do do a specific search, filling out all the fields on the advanced search, I still get many results. |

many results ...
10 results (a page) are too much for you? Poor boy, I'm sorry. So, your code must be short, less than 10 lines, am I wrong? Bah .. |
