FReAK I just released you're the author of FLM Javac Wrapper (http://www.freaklamarsch.de/javacw). Nice work!

1 question: do you know whatever happened to the http://csc.dhs.org/java.php website of Yani Ioannou's? I'm getting good references to it everywhere but the site seems to be down or non-existent anymore.

    I have absolutely no clue

    Hi,
well, when I began to work on the wrapper, he answered a few questions of mine and I thought we could work together on that project. But when I was able to release a new version of the wrapper he didn't seem to be interested in any way and he published a wrapper version of another guy on his page which had only a few improvments (thats the reason why I published mine as "FLM Javac Wrapper"). I tried to contact that guy, but no response.

Then Yani's site moved to http://csc.wojjie.com and went down again.

Btw I have also tried to work together with two other guys who published both their own version of the wrapper, but they didn't reply neither.

So that's the story behind the scenes and if the other guys would be a little bit more communicative, there could be the Ultimate Javac Wrapper :-)

Have a nice day and thanx for
    Nice work!

Reading your account as well as what I gleaned from your site, the Open Source movement could do with more guys like you.

Unfortunately though, I don't have full access to a Pocket PC and most of the time develop on a laptop. I'm having problems developing on JBuilder so if anyone knows a plugin or an IDE for PersonalJava, please let me know. (Problems meaning I couldn't get Hello World type applets to compile). Thanks.
