Hi all,
I was not sure where to post this so I decided to put it in the Java section as I am a Java person ...I am trying to develop a software to be loaded on the client via a webinterface where the client can enter a house in a 3D perspective and zoom in and out (loading pics).. Do you think I should use Java or flash for developing such software?Thank you |

That really depends. First off on what your skills are. Second on what your final product needs. I propose you research the options available to you and determine which will be most cost effective.

One option i've recently just finished looking at is Flex. The end result is still a swf file, but it's written like a traditional program. I've been told that Flash puts together applications from a designer stand point.
Either way Flex is a very nifty tool that is extremely easy to hook up to a j2ee server/backend. Just wanted to toss another thing for you to compare and contrast against when you take CJ's advice.
