Getting the machine name
hi all
is there any way to get the exact machine ip..If i use the getRemoteUser(), i'll be getting only the name of the proxy machine.. but i want to know the actual machine name.. any way around? pls help elisabeth |

hey...
i don't think there is a go around for this. I think that a proxy server pretty much becomes the request-er, and then the getHeader(String name) returns will be for the proxy ![]() I agree that this sucks, and I hope there is a way out, but I don't know of it.
