    Unhappy "Global" error compiling

    Hi All,

Still unable to compile/interpret any of my Java apps. Every time it now returns a "Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main" error message. Any ideas?

Also, on my other PC (Win98) I'm trying to run apps from within a Profile/User account, but the sourced files (in this case, BreezySwing) are outside of the Profile directory. Is this maybe why a similar error message to the one above is being displayed?

Can you display the syntax you are using to compile your files? Have you set your classpath and path files? What OS are you using?

    Talking Problem solved

For some or other reason, my PC still wasn't recognising the new PATH I set. My set path statement sometimes didn't work.

I'm still having some trouble running GUI utils - the source class files can't be located.

Anyway, most of it's working now - thanx 4 da concern

When the Path is set from the command line only that session will recognize the new path. The path must be set globally and a new session must be started for the Path environment to take.
