Help with Tomcat and Apache link

Apache is installed on my Windows 2000 server with IIS disabled, I then installed Tomcat 4.1.18 and then made the alterations for the JK Connector, so I got the mod_jk.conf.

Ran the examples of the jsp from URL

and these all worked fine, but i'm not sure where to store all the jsp pages I create, I put them in the htdocs in the apache directory but this didn't seem to work, the html files worked fine but the jsp wasnt working.

Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong, i'm new to this and i'm trying to get this working so I can do a website with JSP pages for my college assignemnt.

Any help would be great.

Sorry just seen a earlier post that seems to have the same problem as me
