Helpp!! URgent!..Final Year project
I have created a mySQL database and a PIM system using JSP.
I am trying to produce CSV Files (u know..those electronic business cards)... Can ANYONE please help me.. I am able to extract N items from the database and display them on a HTML document but now I want to be able to alllow downloading of those items (which I have in variables ) on the fly.. (i.e i DONT want to save it on to the server and let them download with an <a> link. If anyone can please help me, please be detailed As I am completely cluess as to how I can do this.... |

I am not sure I understand the problem. You want the user to be able to download some csv data? Or just a txt file with one piece of data in it? If the user does not click a link how do you want this transaction initiated?

as far as i see cant you just change the mime type for teh page they would download then dynamically create the data?
