    hmm wat kind of extra information is needed..
    basically is a let say

    abc.hbm.xml

    inside i put

    <hibernate mapping default-lazy="false">
    ...

    and when i try to display a page i will get
    org.hibernate.PropertyAccessException: exception getting property value with CGLIB

    so is the reason because of this or wat?
    can offer any insight?

    <hibernate mapping default-lazy="false">
    That's not a valid hibernate configuration tag. Perhaps "hibernate mapping" is just a typo, but it's a good idea to copy/paste actual configurations rather than retyping them so as not to introduce new bugs.

    Information like the actual configuration you're using and the class file you're mapping in order to determine what property Hibernate is attempting to access but can't.

    but i just want to ask something

    does setting
    <hibernate mappings default-lazy="false">

    will cause this kind of error?

    org.hibernate.PropertyAccessException: exception getting property value with CGLIB

    because my understanding is that i will just then create connection to databsae instead of reading from session

    can anyone enlighten me?

Really, if you can't be arsed to be careful about your typing, you're going to have a great deal of trouble. Lack of attention to detail in setting up a Struts/Hibernate combo is recipe for disaster.

    will cause this kind of error?
    Not by itself. In conjunction with other aspects of your configuration and environment, it sure can.

    Sometimes I feel that reading posts with deliberately mangled grammar is very difficult. Somehow I manage to get through it, though.
