    I tried to use javac with the the tag NumberGuess.java as the project name. It did not work. I am going to make sure the path is correct maybe javac.exe is not able to be run. Even thought I put the address in the path.

    I do as this video tell me step by step and when I type the folder name in the command prompt it opens up in notepad.

    The problem seems to be that your source file is not in your directory. You will need to navigate to the directory containing the file before you can use javac

    I have done that, and posted my code for compile errors. I located the file and could not open the file in the command prompt. A new window opens "netbean or notepad" when I get to the directory where I store my java files.
