on win 32 i have apache, jserv, and tomcat.
on apache start i get: ApacheJServ running... Isn't this supposed to be Tomcat running? ALSO... when i start up Tomcat (standalone or else) I get the "using classpath" details, but the line after "opening Tomcat in new window" is "Bad command or filename"...hence no Tomcat... Appreciate any advice manahei |

You don't need to use Jserv
Yes you don't need to use JServ! Get the "mod_jk.dll" for Apache and follow the instruction from the tomcat's user guide. Basicaly all you'll need to do is add few lines to the Apache's "httpd.conf", lines provided by Tomcat and modify the "Server.xml" file from Tomcat's conf dir.
Good Luck! Peter. |
