JSP Help 9installation)

Hi

I am new to JSP ,

I want to be able to run and test JSP pages on my local machine (win 98 /NT) , i have downloaded the JSWDK from sun , but when i call the function startserver, and then try to get to the server via a browser ie
http://localhost:8080 (as the readme says) it doesnt work

i have java 1.0.1 on my machine too
can someone please give me step by step instructions on how to get jsp up and running on win 98
