JSP reference site?
I have been using PHP for some time now and their website is EXCELLENT. I can find all of the functions, examples etc. Is there something similar for JSP?

URL would be the closest thing. URL is the developers site with loads of handy tips and code snippets and a good forum. The thing about PHP is that it was designed for web page development from the ground up, Java is a general programming language for GUI's and networkin etc. (although it does fit very very well into web development)

I find it pretty tough to follow JSP. I guess I am spoiled by the reference at php.net
![]() Seems ok, I've managed to write some pages but have no idea if I'm doing things right ![]() |

It will take a little bit of time, e.g. one project (3-6 months) before you start feeling comfortable in Java and would really love the Java API docs. Specially if you get comfortable with OOP.
