JSP & XML - How do I parse XML with JSP?

I have an XML file which I can do some pretty cool things with, however I need to be able to get the information out of it.

I was told I can do so with JSP. The problem is, I have found MANY MANY places that say the same thing, but since I know NOTHING about xml, I have no idea of how to really go about doing this.

Does anyone have any ideas? Links? That could show and XML idiot (thats me) how to get info out of an XML file (passed in by URL) using JSP?

    Thanks

    Adam

    Hi Adam,

    Go to http://developer.java.sun.com/develo...s/advanced.pdf
It is an excellent chapter on using xml with JSP. Hope that helps. Let me know how it goes.

Take a look at Xalan for Java on http://xml.apache.org . It's very simple to write a tag that parses XML using XSL on the fly using Xalan.
