    Yep, there are plenty of resources available on the Internet; you just have to know what you need . I would suggest though, for a complete beginner like you, to try the Java-Introduction course at MIT-OCW (https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electric...uary-iap-2010/) and use their book ThinkJava (http://greenteapress.com/thinkjava6/thinkjava.pdf) to learn Java. Read their lectures, do the assignments and after you complete the course you should go to Oracle-Docs (Java Tutorials Learning Paths) for learning any additional topics (Swing, Java2d, Lamda Expressions?) or brushing up the basics. And... that's it .
