Homework - Need Help--Image Display Upon Selected An Item

If I Have A (List) Of Items:

[Shoes] <Image Of Shoe Displayed When Selected [Shoes]
Boots
Sandals
Earrings

I Had Stores All The Images Needed In The /Classes Folder Inside NetBean Directory.

I Need Help With Coding A Java Applet Program That Display The Image When Select An Item On The List.

Can Somebody Help Me With That Code, Please?

If you put all the files in a jar file, it will make it easier to access them.
You could use the getResource method(s) to read them.
