Possible types of web applications with JSP
Hi!

Can anyone give me any suggestions for a web application using JSP and servlets. I'm a beginner, with basic JAVA knowledge. I have to do a project for my course, it can take several weeks, and the teacher's suggestions of opinion polls, shopping carts and lonely hearts ads haven't really inspired me. Since I am a beginner I wasn't really sure what things are in the scope of JSP.

A WML related multi-tier app would be perfect, as I am interested in learning more of these skills.

hmmm... that seemed a little caustic!

I have been looking on Google a-plenty, but the term application often results in too specialized links. That's why I posted here.

Go make some sort of online calendar that stores data in XML and either displays WML or XHTML (using XSL), depending on what kind of browser hits it.
