Question on Java

Hey,

I've been programming in Java for about 4 months now, and being self-taught, I know very little. I've recently become very involved in a game called Pokemmo, which is programmed all in Java. I wanted to make a client-side modification to this game, but after decompiling almost every JAR, I still can't find where I can edit the chat code. I was wondering if maybe someone could go download that and then inform me where to look.

Are you sure what you are doing is legal?

Have you asked the authors of the program for a copy of the source you want to work with?

I have asked one of the staff members regarding the modifications I would like to make, and they said it was fine. I have not tried to ask for the source, but I will try right now.
