    How to run JSP pages

I am new to JSP and I am studying it through books. But my problem is the most basic.

I dont know how to compile and run it.

I believe when I create a JSP file it must go to some folder within my Tomcat folder. I am unable to determine this.

I am using Windows XP and the following folder

    C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1

    contains my bin,conf,webapps etc.

I have been successful so far in using servlets and the folder where I store my java class files for servlets is:

    (a)
    C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1\webapps\examples\WEB-INF\classes

The following generates the servlets correctly:

    (b)
    http://localhost:8080/examples/servlet/Filename

So kindly tell me what is the equivalent of line (a) and (b) for JSP compiling and display.

    Thanks.
