Hi!
Is it possible to save a file on a client machine using an applet java? I don't know what are security issues about that. claudia

It's possible, but you have to get permission first
.Here's instructions on using RSA signed applets. http://java.sun.com/products/plugin...objsigning.html It says you have to get a Certificate from Thawte, but I think you can make your own. They aren't verified, but that's not always bad, and they should still work. About creating your own Certs: http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/...ates/page4.html Last edited by bricker42 : October 14th, 2002 at 11:21 PM. |
