Speed of DrawingTool in Java

How do you adjust the speed at which the DrawingTool (imported from gpdraw) draws. I am making a Koch Curve Snowflake and when I try to make it more complicated, it takes forever for the program to draw it. I've heard you can make it go instantaneously, but I don't know how.
