Tomcat and Oracle?

I've been struggling with setting up Tomcat on my server. But one of the things that I hadn't thought about was maybe the Jserv / Apache installation that is automatically loaded with Oracle (which is loaded on my server) is causing the problems. Any body have any thoughts on this?

Theoretically, they should be completely seperate. The only problems I can think of would be making sure the ports are set correctly and making sure there aren't any incorrect environment variables. The first would be an obvious problem, and the second is rather unlikely as well.
