TOMCAT/ApacheJServ - please help

I am new for JSP. in the process of installing and configuring jsp on win2000 i installed following respectively.

1. j2sdk-1_3_1_01.exe at c:\jdk
2. Apache 1.3.14 at c:\apache and working fine at URL Apache/1.3.14 (win32) running...
3. Tomcat 3.2.3 at c:\TOMCAT and working fine at URL

and now i am able to parse jsp file. so my question is that what is role of ApacheJServ and is it required for jsp developement.

i downloaded ApacheJServ-1.1.1.exe and try to installed it but failed. during installation this asked please select the directory in which you installed the JVM and i select c:\jdk and it goes to next question and ask please select the directory in which you installed the JSDK2.0 and i selected c:\jdk then it prompts with message that cannot find jsdk.jar file and finally setup is not completed. please tell me how to do setup for ApacheJServ module.

Regards

i may not have read your question properly but i was under the impression that jserv didn't support JSP so that's why we went to TOMCAT.....

with an APACHE/TOMCAT setup, you have no need to use jserv
