tomcat.how to convert digested password back to clear text password

I am developing an interface to update the users, users_roles table. First i am retrieving all the fields including the password to display in a text box in a form.

when i retrieve the password, it is retrieving the digested password, in case the user does not want to update the pasword. then when they click the update button, the digested password displayed in the text box is again getting digested. so the user cannot login again.

so when i retrieve from the users table, i want it to display the password in decrpted form, so even if the user does not want to update the password, the password will not change.

    Hi,

Digests are usually one way. Meaning you cannot decrypt it (of course if you had 1000 computers working in parallel for 100 years you might achieve it)
