Version control for Netbeans

Hi All,

I've ben going back and forth between Netbeans and Eclipse. I really like Eclipse, but I want to use Swing, so I'm going to use Netbeans from now on. My question is, what is the version control software of choice for Netbeans. I realize it is set up for CVS, but what I get from reading these forums, CVS is getting old and subversion is the way to go. However, subversion (which I've been playing with on Eclipse) , doesn't seem to be supported on Netbeans very well.

I know everyone has their favorites, and I want to hear them when you get a chance.

Thanks!

Hi All,

After a bit of googling, I found that Netbeans has a plugin for Subversion. I will give this a try. Just thought I'd report back.

cheers!

ok,

the plugin above is not free.

However, I've started using TortoisSVN, which is basically subversion, and I'm using it in conjunction with NEtbeans. Can't really access the SVN through Netbeans, but by doing things through browsers, you more or less have the same capabilities. In any case, I've found this combination successful.
