any good web testing book in the market?
how to do performance testing without any testing software used.
any goos site for webtesting also would be helpful.

For performance testing, you could download Webstone for free at http://www.mindcraft.com/webstone . I don't know how you could do performance testing w/o any software used; you need a repeatable series of requests and measure the results.
