    Thanks, but now JSP

Thanks for your reply, i already downloaded tomcat 3.3 and jdk1.1.8. Installed it and it worked . Next problem: i haven't written a single JAVA code.

Do I need to learn JAVA to learn JSP? Where can i find a tutorial which explains the differents between JAVA, JAVA Applets, BEANS, Servlet, Jsp, etc. etc.?

    No, he didn't. hello?

    He said "this" site.

    Devshed.com

Devshed has more than enough info to get started.

Do you have to learn java to program JSP? No

Is it a good idea to learn java? Yes

If you don't learn some java, everything will be mysterious and I imagine serious debugging would be a nightmare (It can be hellish if you 'know' java)

    Other sites to look at:

java.sun.com Java tutorials from the source

onjava.com O'reilly's site, it rocks, but some of the stuff is very advanced.

www.javaranch.com Nice little java community, good place to ask java questions.
