    Method not Allowed error

I have configured Apache 1.3 and Tomcat 3.3 on 2 seperate servers. The development server is running just fine. However the pre-prod-test server is giving me the following error after my login page:

    Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL /MSS/Web_Inventory/session.jsp

Tomcat is not creating the java class files for my login.jsp page like it does on my dev box.

Also if you click on either the back or refresh buttons the browser window will display my jsp source code.

    Are these 3 errors related?

Am I missing something in my server.xml file?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Karl

Sounds like Tomcat is not working at all. All I can suggest is a reinstall.

I've tried that, twice! After I did a clean install Tomcat would run the example jsps just fine. However when I point Tomcat/Apache to the app dir (not in the Tomcat default dir it fails). I can get rid of the method not allowed error by changing the form action from 'Post' to 'Get', but Tomcat still won't generate any .java or .class files.

    Thanks for your suggestion.
