    Well, there's OpenAMF: http://www.openamf.org/ or you can use XML: http://www.tupps.com/flash/faq/xml.html

    If you have the session ID by the time you display the Flash App, you can specify the session ID using the FlashVars parameter in the OBJECT and EMBED tags used to display your Flash movie. The arguments to the FlashVars parameter have to be URL-encoded. When the movie is loaded, each of these becomes a global variable.

    For example (I'm leaving out all the other stuff from these tags):
    <OBJECT>
    <!-- etc. -->
    <PARAM NAME="FlashVars" VALUE="sessionID=56">
    <EMBED
    FlashVars="sessionID=56">
    </EMBED>
    </OBJECT>

    So if you're currently using an HTML page to display the Flash movie, use a JSP page, and in the JSP code write the FlashVars so that they include the session ID.
