    ECS (Element Construction Set)

    Hi All,

I'm using Apache ECS (Element Construction Set) in my project.

ECS v1.4.1 has been used successfully in my project by my colleagues for years. I'm new to this project and am trying to make the web app accessible and one of the the things I need to do from within my code (which uses ECS) is to access the root "<html>" element of the page so I can add lang="en" to it.

I can't seem to find out how to do this. I'm using an NCFrameSet with 2 NCFrame's for my page. I can access the "html" element of each individual frame successfully but can't access the "html" element at the root of the page :-(

Has anyone encountered this before ? - any help would be great - thanks.

Perhaps there is a reason that ECS was discontinued 3 years ago and the mailing list archive was very inactive in even 2009. This sounds like ancient code - you are likely to need to look at solutions from this decade.
