A nav bar in javascript

In the right top corner of this site http://www.gameplanet.co.nz/ you find a nice nav bar.

Could somebody explain to me how i can make a thing like that, i think its made with javascript.

actually it's an image map not javascript... you simply make your image up (in photoshop or whatever you use) then, by using a map making tool, define areas of your image which will act as HTML links. These areas are then coded within the MAP tag which is a standard HTML tag.

If you did a search at google or some search engine using keywords HTML MAP TUTORIAL EXAMPLE "CLIENT SIDE IMAGE MAP" you'd find plenty of info.
