Can 3.0 browsers utilize jump menus without go buttons [javascripted]?

Does anybody know the earliest browser version that can use javascripted jump menus [select tags]?

Any info would be much appreciated thanks

Think you'd be looking at v3.x clients. The onchange handler which makes these possible is early JS - 1.0 - I believe IE3 as well. Is this a big issue?

Well, Navigator 2 does JS 1.0, as does MSIE 3.0. Are you targeting Mosaic, by chance?
