We've all seen'em on various sites - you mouse over a link and a little "submenu" pops up with links to other pages, etc. I know this is done with a combination of layers, DHTML, and probably Javascript, but I cannot find a definitive tutorial on how to create them, nor can I find any handy little apps that will create them for you.
Can anyone help me with this? I have a client who desires this type of navigation in his site, and I'm stumped.
Thanks much!

looks like you just need some guidance. my favorite site for dhtml component building tutorials would have to be www.dansteinman.com - check out the dynduo section. all of libraries are available under gpl and are easily configurable and modifiable. check it out. word.

Hi everybody, I went through all the sites here and they were great. But I needed menus with 3 sublevels, and the "copy&paste" code that had there had only 1 sublevel. Anyone can help me?
Many thanks.

Don't know if I'm waaaay too late to post a reply to this, but there's a 5-level drop-down menu (I'm sure you could make it pop up)

Have you had a look at AllWebMenus (likno.com)? It is a handy little program that you might find just what you are looking for.
