How to upload files using AJAX and PHP

Hi!! I am developing a simple content management system and need to add a multiple file uploading area for users.
I have done it with Pure PHP code and it works fine for me.
Now I want to as some ajax on to it. Actually I need to upload file with put refreshing the page. If I can show a progress bar that also will be nice.
Can any of you guys direct me to a tutorial or example?
“I don’t want Flash!!!! Uploading”
Thanks!
