    If you really want to help me, then go to codewars.com. you dont need to register or anything.

    just paste this code at the first challenge

    function Person(name){
    this.name = name;
    }

    Person.prototype.greet = function(otherName){
    return "Hi " + otherName + ", my name is " + this.name;
    }

    after you paste the code and click submit you will then see the current challenge that i cannot solve. of course i know how to multiply but i dont know how to write it down in javascript. Im new to java etc

    so please solve this and then paste the solution back here

    What exactly is the point in all this? The entire concept of that site is to challenge yourself. You are not challenging yourself, you are bothering us with it.

    Now, if you are trying to complete these challenges for some specific reason, then by all means, hop on over to the Hire a Programmer forum, a little further down the page.

    Otherwise give a valid reason for it.

    The point of the challenge is to improve your understanding of the language. If you do not have the basic knowledge to complete the challenge, there is no point in attempting it. You need to learn not cheat.

    Post the challenge here.

    @Winters: the OP posted the challenge in the first post of this thread. The complete challenge is:
    Code:
    The code does not execute properly. Try to figure out why.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    function multiply(a, b){
      a * b
    }
    @Neqval:
    1) What would you need to do to get the function to return something back out of it? [hint:the answer is in the question].
    2) What is needed at the end of every javascript statement to end/complete it?

    I believe they are past that now and are asking another question.

    On the codewars.com website, you have to complete 2 challenge questions before you can sign up.

    The 1st challenge question is what the OP posted in post #3 of this thread, and the 2nd challenge question is what the OP posted in post #1 of this thread.

    Thank you.

    You were not asking for help, you were asking for cheats. I suggested you learn.
