Question Javascript form validators do not always work.

I have seen on two different computers running version 5.50.4522.180 of windows internet explorer that my form validators work on one machine but do not work on the other one. On the machine that it doesnt work on the form fields do not get validated but the form processes and sends the information to the server anyway.
Does anyone know why this happens and if there is a check I can do to not allow the form to process unless the validators are working? Preferably then I can tell the user that they must change their security settings to use my site.
    Please help!!

It may have something to do with your code. What are you using as your submit button? An <input type="submit">? an <input type=image>? or an image wrapped in a link? Is your validation function called by an onclick event handler on your submit button or by the onsubmit event handler of the form tag?

    cheers,
