    Looking for JS date picker

    I'm looking for a light-weight JS date picker with the more or less "standard" calendar type interface displayed in a <div>.

    It doesn't have to be pure JS (JQuery in use in my app), but it doesn't have to be JQuery, either - I don't care.

    I really like some of the options with this oldie-but-goodie:

    JavaScript Toolbox - Calendar Popup To Select Date

    But the code seems a bit "weighty" and I wouldn't know how to par it down.

    I need to:

    * Use a specific date format (dd mmm yyyy)
    * Have the option of setting allowable date ranges that the selection must fall into
    * Be a pop-up DIV (anchored or not - prefer anchored)
    * Be easily styleable - applying styles should not break it
    * Must not be "buggy"
    * Have the ability to have "black-out" days within the date range.

    The last is a wish, not a complete deal-breaker.

    No, I'm not interested in paying money for a solution (I know - and respect - that there are solutions for sale, but I'm a cheap bastard)

    Any suggestions?

    I tend to just use the jQuery UI library which has a date picker. Might be something lighter out there if you only need a calendar, but I haven't looked. I tend to use the other jQuery UI stuff as well (dialogs mostly) so it's worth having.
