New to Javascript - Please Help w/Rollover!!

Hello Everyone!
I have been able to find rollover examples where you substitue one image for another (where the images are in the same place on the screen). What I want to do is hover over a certain image and then replace a different image, without affecting the first image. So there will be a total of three images involved. The initial image that will be hovered over, a second image that will change, and the third image that will replace the second one.

Can this be done? I am desperate....
