Question regarding use of google maps in form

For a free quote service, for a home theater installation business I want customers to be able to pick a location on an embedded Google map(on web page with form), and have a screen shot of the map sent to a database along with their info.
Is this possible? Thought I'd try to find out so when I go hire a web developer I'll have a more concise picture of what I need done.
