Javascript DOM map/table
Is there a guide or table or something showing the structure of the DOM?
I've read various tutorials which give you bits and pieces of what you can do, but I'd like a good reference so I can find out exactly what is possible.
Thanks,

Terrific! Glad I could help.
...and "huge" and "daunting" a great ways to describe it, but once you spend enough time looking at it, it will become second-nature -- much like a foreign language.
Incidentally, Danny Goodman is an excellent author (and authority) on the topic. I would highly recommend his book (as well as David Flanagan's book, published by O'Reilly & Associates, entitled JavaScript: The Definitive Guide, which I reference several times a week for idiosyncratic syntax issues, etc.).

I'd already been thinking about getting that book actually.
Need something to read when my brain starts to collapse!!
Thanks again

I second that book recommendation. I use it also and it is truly a fine reference.
