    Two Javascript pop-up questions.

    I don't know much of Javascript, so I have a few questions.

    1) I'm working on a little polling script and am failing in trying to get the users choice to respond when the receiving php scrit is called though a pop-up javascript. This is the function I'm using

    Code:
    <script LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
    <!--//

    function downloader(sURL){
    newwindow=open(sURL,"download","scrollbars=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes,status=no,width=325,height=325");
    }

    //-->
    </script>
    and I calling it though <FORM ACTION="javascript:downloader('14000answer.php')" method="post">

    But the php script never gets the data on submit. Is there a way I can write the code to pass the data and get a pop-up for the results? I don't like having it take up a whole page.

    2) Is it possible to rewrite the function in 1 to accept the width and height though the function call? ie <a href='javascript:popup('some.html', 500, 400)"> or something like that?

    If it's something simple then you may be better off opening the window and passing the form data as a query. eg:

    function submitData(pollAnswer) {
    windowURL = "./myPoll.php?answer=" + escape(pollAnswer)
    open(windowURL)
    }

    Then use PHP to manipulate the query data.
