I've got a DHTML top nav menu in a top frame. However, it does not dropdown into the frame below. I've read that this isn't really possible due to the nature of frames.
Fortunately I found a script at Bratta.com that DOES cross frames, except it's not quite the one I want.
Does anyone know how this was achieved?? I seriously would be very grateful if someone shared the technique with me.

sorry but I am sure it can not be done - thomas brattli normally provides tutorials for his scripts-
it may be possible to give the impression of crossing frames - its just not easy -
but elements can not exist outside the browser

So if the DHTML menu cannot cross a frame, you probably have to put the top nav code on every page, is that right?

You may want to try using an ssi to pull the menu into every page. This will keep you from having to actually code it on every page and you can make changes to just one place. This will be a better solution than frames! If you are interested in looking at a site that has menus that show outside the frame, or appear to be outside the frames see this site ---> www.collegesoccer.com
note: this ie only!
