    PHP and Javascript sharing variables

Is there a method, besides any type of file or database writing, that will allow for PHP and Javascript to share two or three variables on the same page?

Been reading other posts and it looks like its a negative. I have been search for a w and h for an image function, however the only one I have found is for bitmaps and even then its "experimental" and subject to change without warning.

Well, PHP is server side (runs on the server), and JavaScript is client side (runs in the end user's web browser). They can't share variables dynamically but all you have to do is have PHP write out some JavaScript and set the JavaScript variables to the ones in PHP.

Is there any other SSL that would allow for JPEG image height and width fetching?
