I'm not mad or upset at you  was just trying to figure out what you were saying.
Anyways LDAP is used mostly for authentication, not sure if it's widely used or not, Active directory is LDAP and that is widely used so I guess depending on what you're looking to do with it.

Can you tell me why this forum call LDAP programming ? can you give me a piece of code to make it clear ?
I am new to this, I dont know anything about this, i would love to hear what you say...

 ask the admins they just changed it to be called that because it's better for the search engines. There really isn't any programming on the LDAP server side but only in the client that you create or use.
