Attribute error - can someone help?
Hello,
I've begun trying to setup OpenLDAP to authenticate users in a Linux and Windows 2K network. I 've installed openldap onto a linux redhat9 server using the redhat rpms. I can start the ldap server. So far so good.
Next I tried to migrate the linux files into ldap using migrate_all_online.sh. All seemed promising.
Then the script fell over giving this error:
ldap_add: Undefined attribute type
additional info: defaultServerList: attribute type undefined.
ldif_record() = 17
/usr/bin/ldapadd: returned non zero exit status
From this error, since I cant find a defaultServerList anywhere, I can't imagine where to begin. Can someone suggest a course of action to fix this?
thanks greatly
Christy
