Cant Contact LDAP Server
Hi all,
I am new to LDAP. I have openLDAP 2.4.2 alpha version installed upon linux and Barkley Database as a backend. I had added domain information in the slapd.conf as "database bdb suffix dc=example,dc=com rootdn cn=Manager,dc=example,dc=com" when i issue the command ldapsearch as" ldapsearch -x -b ' ' -s base '(objectclass=*)' namingContexts" it displays the error as " ldap_sasl_bind(SIMPLE): cant contact ldap server (-1)" Any configuration is missing or suggestions how to do this? Regards Farhan |
