Exchange public folder contents

Hi all,

This may not strictly be an LDAP query... in which case i appologise in advance.

Basically i am trying to find out if the contents of an exchange public folder (for example contacts) are stored by exchange and are searchable using LDAP.

I have searched around and can't seem to find anything to do with the retrieving the contents of a public folder.

If someone can point me in the right direction i would be very greatful.
