I have written some scripts which I have working on our current intranet at work, such as a company phonebook which queries ldap for the details.
However what our intranet really needs is a forum. I would much prefer it if people didnt have to have password for their machines and a password for the intranet forums. It would be far nicer if the forums were run from our Active Directory for authentication. Can anyone tell me if there is any forum software out there at the moment that supports ldap authentication? |

Don't think so, but it should be fairly easy to modify the auth module of an existing opensource forum software to take advantage of LDAP auth.

jiveforums supports LDAP but costs a fortune, PHPBB (which is what this site uses I think) supports LDAP via the ldapauthmod mod
