LDAP bind request

Hi,

I am not deep into the LDAP protocol parameters, so please bear with some basic questions.

- Does the bind operation provide a session key to be used in the search operation afterwards?
- How long an LDAP bind operation is valid and could be used for multiple LDAP search requests? I believe for each search operation, the client would not need to make LDAP bind request.

Even better if you can support your answer with the RFCs.

Regards
RAdil
