LDAP ERROR: ldap_modify_s: Protocol error
When I run following I get this error, can anyone please let mek now why ?
(It is Solaris 5.9 env)

ldapmodify -h servername -p port -D cn=orcladmin -w passwd -f a.ldif

ldap_modify_s: Protocol error
