    LDAP import settings

    Hi all,
i'm a newbie to ldap, so maybe my question would be very silly to you, so excuse me.
I have Liferay linked to a LDAP server and it's working. I set liferay to store in DB clear text passwords because I need so.
But when LDAP make import in Liferay DB pwd aren't in clear text,
but, for example, I find "RJEdRB4g" for "massimo". Is Ldap encrypting passwords? Can I avoid it? How?
    What coder is it using?
If I was not accurate in describing problem, let me know and I'll try to explain better. It's very urgent to me find a solution, hope someone of you could help me...thanks in advance for any hint!

    Greets,
    Rosa
